The Beta system is very strong, simple to use and, particularly when displaying large pictures, really looks the part. One important advantage is that the hangers are rigid so that in most cases you can reposition your paintings whilst standing on the floor. Being steel rather than aluminium, they maintain their integrity far more when hanging heavier pictures. The hooks are all self locking, i.e. just let go and they hold themselves in place, and they lend themselves very well to major or minor adjustment. The rail and hangers can be painted to match your walls.
There are 3 stages to security; Secondly the security kit (SHW/SHS) locks the hanger to the rail, (whilst allowing for horizontal adjustment) Finally the end stop kit prevents the hanger and security kit being removed from an open end of rail.
The first is the security hook (HS) which locks the picture to the hanger, (whilst allowing for vertical adjustment)
Additionally the brass collar prevents the hook from being forced down off the end of the hanger.
